StrasbourgAston Villa flop Vaclav Drobny is aiming to resurrect his career in Germany.
The Czech Republic defender has failed to make a single appearance for Villa since joining on a season-long loan from Strasbourg.
Drobny has spoken of his frustration at failing to make an impact at Villa Park but is now hoping to seize his chance in Die Bundesliga. The stopper is training with an unnamed German side next week and he aims to clinch a free transfer switch to Die Bundesliga in the summer.
"My dream was playing in The Premiership and to play for the Czech Republic," said Drobny.
"But it is not happening so I am looking forward now to playing in Die Bundesliga and fulfilling my dream of playing in the World Cup.
"I have this opportunity to go to a club in Germany and maybe I will sign a contract for next year."

Non non c'est bien un transfert gratuit, en gros le Racing le libère de son contrat quoi...à l'amiable bien sûr! Histoire que Drobny(pas très bon qui plus est) est libre de trouver un club. Ca m'étonnerait qu'il réussisse à jouer la Coupe du Monde, vu son niveau. Déjà , qu'il s'impose en club en Europe, et après il verra bien ! Good Luck Vaclav!
Bon là dessus je pense pareil.
Avec Haggui et Kanté cela m'étonnerait qu'ils gardent Drobny. Mais avant de cracher dessus moi je trouve qu'il construisait quand meme pas mal le jeu. Par contre c'est vrai qu'il avait un coté un peu passoire. J'avoue
